Yawar Khan Durrani, is a fashion designer currently based in Lahore. His design practice is based on sustainability and craft revival. His work focuses on a basketry technique that is indigenous to his hometown Kot Addu. Yawar aims and believes in using his knowledge and skills to contribute towards the preservation and restoration of culture and ecology as well as empowering local communities. Yawar completed his bachelors in Fashion Design from Beaconhouse National University (BNU). He likes to work with natural materials and explore various applications of such materials.
